Pipes on Parade

Pipes on Parade is an outgrowth and implementation of some of the core values adopted by the congregation of Gordon Street Christian Church (DOC).  Pipes on Parade invites people to encounter God, not only through worship, but also through music and architecture.  Gordon Street Christian has musical talent extraordinaire who share their God-given gifts on a weekly basis with the congregation.  At various times during the year, the musicians of Gordon Street share their talents at concerts coined, “Pipes of Parade.” Organist, Weil Sawyer teams up with Beth Heath on the handbells, and Elizabeth Wynne and Bryant Lee Cox on strings to provide concerts.  The instruments coupled with the beautiful towering ceiling at Gordon Street delight listeners and certainly give praise our most high God! Thank you, musicians for sharing your talents and giving your time to make these well-attended concerts a success!

The concerts are announced on our Facebook page so look for these announcements in the spring before Easter, in July, and in December.  The concerts are free and open to the public.  The most recent “Pipes on Parade” concerts are found below; others, can be found on our YouTube Channel. Just click on the YouTube icon on our website footer. Please come to our 2026 concerts and be blessed!
